American College of Sports Medicine Annual Meeting

This year I was not able to travel to Indianapolis to attend the ACSM annual conference. As with every conference some new information was presented together with some replications of well known physiological phenomena.

As usual Dr. Will Hopkins provided a well written and informative summary of the event and published it on the Sports Science website (A peer reviewed journal and site for sports research available here: www.sportsci.org).

I really enjoy Will’s writing and I strongly suggest every reader of this blog to take a look his article here:

Polyphenol Supplements and Other Strategies for Athletes at the ACSM Annual Meeting

All great, just one thing: Team GB Triathlon is well prepared as well…and with all the hard work gone into it, we deserve to win as much as our American colleagues. So, let’s all hope for a great and fair competition in Beijing.
